My name is Gustavo Lopez. I am a Data and Information Technology professional in Central Florida, working within the Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem, and in particular SQL
Server Reporting Services.
The world is becoming increasingly
reliant on large amounts of data.Though this is an exciting time for
data visualization and new tools are being created every day for making
sense of all this complexity.
I’ve always enjoyed computers, art,
technology and business. My first degree was in graphic design, and my
early work led me to web design and development, and later a career in
Information Technology which led me to get a second degree as a Bachelor
of Sciences in Technical Management with a concentration in Business
Information Systems from DeVry University.
Over the years, I’ve
worked heavily with design, development, programming, database design,
deployment and project documentation for all types of software projects:
web design, interactivity, back end processes, middleware, scripting, database,
business intelligence, etc. Additionally I've worked on projects
developing in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SharePoint, .NET, and
other application platforms.
When I’m not working with software, I
enjoy sketching, writing music, and also getting outdoors for hiking,
camping, fishing and traveling.
Specialties: Programming and
scripting with SQL, SSRS, SharePoint JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, HTML,
CSS, JSP, and others. Development of complex database queries, reports,
data integration, applications, websites, user interfaces, interactive
screens, online forms, e-mail campaigns. Experience with software
documentation, Agile and many other enterprise-level practices.
